V-Base has been a core product for PML since the formation of the company. The suite contents are being migrated to .NET technology. Due to this we are not actively marketing V-Base at the moment. Existing customers are of course still being fully supported and may purchase additional licences and modules. V-Base Success Stories: Fingerprint Management - PML has a strong association with with Cambridge University Engineering Department. This enabled us, in collaboration with Oracle Corporation to build and successfully deploy a fingerprint management system for Thames Valley Police. Signature Verification - V-Base distributor GMO CZR installed a signature verification system for the CSOB Bank Prague. The full system numbered over 110 workstations in 14 branches. The system is used to recall customer's signatures in a fraction of the time taken by the previous microfiche system. Electoral Roll - a V-Base partner has produced a system for scanning, compression and display of Electoral Roll documents. This has been used by the majority of Local Councils in the UK.
